She arched her back and tilted her head up so that her smile graced him. If he were able to choose a life mate, it would be her, his Kira. His Kira. The thought sent warmth through his body and caused his heart to beat with renewed vigor. The choice had already been made.

“What are you thinking?” Her voice, smooth as spun silk, washed over him. He pulled her closer, wishing he could sink his skin into hers, wrap himself around her and completely become one with her sweetness.

“I am thinking about many things.” It was the truth. There was no way to tell her what he needed to say, no way to make her understand. Tell her the truth, the voice inside his head warned. No. Not yet, he countered. He would tell her, but not today.

“Care to share them with me?” Her soft fingertips brushed against his jaw, which was uncustomarily covered with a dark beard.

“I shall when the time is right. For now, I just wish to love you.”

Her breasts rose and fell as her fingers worked their way into his hair.

“And I wish for a bath.”

She smiled and then pulled herself from his arms. He watched as she rose from the bed and made her way to the door, which shut the bedroom off from the bathing room. When her hand touched the doorknob, she turned and gave a little smile, bringing his cock back to life with that tiny motion. “You coming?”

The tub was large enough for both of them, he realized upon entering the room. She was already bent over the tub, her long hair dancing against her back as she poured a bluish liquid into the water. Steam rose, enveloping him as soon as the door closed. In the mist she looked like a goddess, her slender frame illuminated by the glowing bulbs and candlelight.

“Get the lights, will you?”

He fumbled with the wall switch before finally shutting off the overhead light, leaving her bathed completely in candlelight. He swallowed hard and his cock jerked in reaction to her.
